9 Days 8 Nights

Day 1: Cairo

Arrival Cairo, meet and assist and transfer direct to: (1) Ei Arish (1st. Point Egypt) where El zaraniq(37 kms west to Ei arish) is located. Visit the ruins of Flousseya church. (2) the holy family then threaded their way along northern Sinai until they reached Farma(Port Said), visit the ruins of Coptic monuments. (3) proceed to Tel Basta (short distance from Zagazig)here Jesus caused a water spring to well up from the ground (4) in due course, they reached Mostorod (10km) away from Cairo, visit Virgin Mary church. (5) From Mostorod, the holy family made their way northeastwards to Belbeis, they rested there in the shade of a tree which came to be called “The Virgin Mary’s tree”. Back to hotel in Cairo and overnight

Day 2: Cairo

Reach to small townships of: (6) Meniet Samanoud, then again towards the north-west, the Holy family then traveled (7) until they reached the city of Sakha in the Lake district of Burullus. Visit the Virgin Mary Church in Sakha where the christ’s foot print was marked on a stone. Their trail from Sakha is recorded in the documentation of Pope Theophilus vision and attested to be a Coptic practice in the Christian era. (8) For it was to Wadi el-Batroun, visit al Sorian monstery Abu Makar, Al Baramose mosteries

Day 3: Cairo

The Holy family at (10) Matareya & Ain Shams, (11) Zeitoun, (12) old Cairo churches, (13) Maadi. PM: visit Egyptian museum. Overnight in Cairo

Day 4: Uppr Egypt Minya

The holy family quits southward to the towns of upper Egypt. (14) arrive to the village of Deir al Garnous (10kms) west of Ashnein El Nassara, a small village near the town of Maghagha. (15) they went on from there to Sandafa which stands some (17kms) west of the town of Benimazar. (16) on towards the south, they went to Samalout, where the monastery of the virgin now stands upon Gabal El Tair (bird mountain) overnight at Aton hotel (4star) in Minya

Day 5: Uppr Egypt Assiut

(18) Early morning, to Al Ashmounein town: *Malawy then to (19) Dairout Al Sharif. *and then to (20) Qussqam* the next stop at (21) mere only (7km) west of Quoussia, here, the holy family found only consideration and hospitality for which the town and its people were signally blessed. (22) the holy family arrived and set at Gabal Quoussia in the governorate of Assiut, the monastery of Al Muharraq nestles against the western foothills, the mountain, in this place.

Day 6: Cairo Giza

Early morning back to Cairo visit pyramids and sphinx. Free all day for rest at hotel in Cairo, few hours after midnight, start tour to St. Catherine.

Day 7: St. Catherine

Arrival morning, breakfast then visit the St. Catherine monastery, overnight.
